Odem's World Foundation is committed to connecting women globally through salon gatherings that foster multidisciplinary conversation and community building.
WHY?
Odem, daughter of founder Michal Lavi, was born in 2017, two months early, weighing only 2.75 pounds. A demonstration of her shared philosophy with her mother that while patience may be a virtue, determination is paramount. Odem was born independent if somewhat impatient to meet the world.
Odem’s World Foundation was born out of love and commitment for all girls, so they can grow up safe, confident, compassionate and strong. It is fueled by the belief that taking action is far better than being resentful and fearful.
Odem is the motivation and drive. Nadia Murad’s Tzavta Salon was the catalyst. Nadia’s work inspired Odem’s World Foundation and the collaboration with Nadia’s Initiative.
